Aetna Dental Insurance Helps You Smile More!
Maintaining all the smiles in your family can get costly. If you have dental insurance, however, those fees can be reduced. When you see a dentist's network on your plan, then those costs just might be reduced even further. That's why Dr. Varun P. Joseph at Plano Family Dental and his team are happy to accept dental insurance, including several of Aetna's plans. You are in luck if your employer offers dental coverage with Aetna, one of the country's largest dental insurance providers. This means that your company cares about your dental health! Be sure to take full advantage of your benefits by scheduling regular preventive dental care for each family member.

Aetna Coverage Availability & Fees
Aetna offers three dental plans. Each one will let you save money on the dental care your family needs every year.
The plans are:
- Network Only Dental Plans or Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO®)
- Network Option Dental Plans or Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
- Dental Indemnity Plan
If you need assistance in understanding the details of your plan, please call our office. We will be glad to help. Alternatively, you can contact your insurance representative at work. Aetna advisors are available to answer your questions too.Regardless of the plan you have, seeing an in-network or out-of-network dentist will almost always help you save money on dental work. Remember that with most dental insurance plans, benefits are provided within a designated period. Typically, this time covers the calendar year from January to December.Your plan may also have annual deductibles, maximums, and lifetime limits for certain services. For instance, Aetna's PPO plan sometimes require a deductible or have a yearly maximum. While benefits do not roll over from one year to the next, our front office staff will work hard to make sure you use all you are entitled to without exceeding the limit.
