Dr. Joseph's true passion is volunteering and giving people a reason to smile, no matter if that is in or out of the practice. He regularly participates in the following organizations:

- McKinney Education Foundation - Grants and Scholarship Committees, Dr. Joseph serves on committees that provides grants to teachers and scholarships to students
*Fun fact: Dr. Joseph was also one of the recipients of the MEF scholarship during his senior year at McKinney North High School, which tremendously helped him with his college expenses - Friend of the Center for BrainHealth at UT Dallas
- Supporter and sponsor of Grey Matters - Grey Matters North Texas Brain Tumor Support Group, founded in 1998, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing emotional and logistical support to brain tumor survivors and their families.

- Magazines for U.S service members stationed overseas - Sends magazines to American troops stationed in other countries
