Your New Smile Is Waiting For you

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a cosmetic procedure in which a tooth-colored composite resin material is applied to your teeth to improve your smile. Bonding can enhance the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, stained or have spaces between them.

Bonding your front teeth requires minimal preparation of the tooth. Anesthesia is usually not needed unless there is an old restoration or decay present. The tooth is roughened with a conditioning gel to help the bonding material adhere to the tooth. The composite resin is then applied and cured with ultraviolet light. Your Plano Family Dentist dentist will then shape and polish the resin to its final appearance.

Teeth Whitening

When you come to Plano Family Dental, you'll first engage in a thorough discussion with one of our staff so that you can express your expectations for the procedure to us. We'll want to find out how radiant you would like us to make your enamel and how quickly you hope to achieve noticeable results with teeth whitening. Our dentists always want to plan comprehensive, individualized treatments for our patients! Our team can lighten your look with an in-office teeth whitening process for fast results or provide an at-home teeth whitening system for a more gradual progression.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is used to cover a tooth that is decayed or damaged. Depending on the need, dental crowns can be constructed using a variety of materials that are very similar, in appearance and color, to your natural teeth. At Plano Family Dental we use a variety of cosmetic dental services and techniques to provide you the most personalized treatment that gives you the healthy, natural looking, and spectacular smile you deserve.

Cosmetic Veneers

These custom shells, typically made of porcelain , cover the front sides of the teeth to change their color and/or shape. Veneers last longer than bonding and provide a superior appearance. Porcelain veneers are less expensive than crowns and can improve teeth that:

  • Have spaces between them
  • Have become chipped or worn
  • Are permanently stained
  • Are poorly shaped
  • Are slightly crooked
