She was really worried about fixing it, but Dr. Joseph explained everything to her and answered all her questions. A white filling was place in the area, molded and smoothed perfectly to match her tooth. She was so happy with the ease of the whole procedure and the result!

Dr. Joseph recommended composite material to build up the tooth where it was chipped. In less than an hour we were able to do a conservative white filling with minimal to no discomfort. The patient was very happy with the outcome and has not used his teeth to crack open crab legs again.

Upon doing his examination, Dr. Joseph was able to determine that it was indeed a cavity. Dr. Joseph cleaned out the area and added composite material to fix the tooth.

The patient wanted a treatment plan that was less invasive, so Dr. Joseph recommended composite material to cover the missing areas of her teeth where she can see the wedge-like shape. He also recommended a bite splint because when a patient has loss of tooth structure in the shape of a wedge, they are unaware that they are grinding and clenching. After treatment was completed, the patient was happy about the outcome.

Dr. Joseph sent him to a wonderful endodontist (root canal specialist), and repaired and protected his tooth with a crown. Notice how much the crown looks exactly like his other teeth!

There was already a root canal so it wasn’t causing any pain. There was a cavity that cause the hole, so Dr. Joseph cleaned the area out and placed a white filling in inside.
