A more in depth consultation uses scans, x-rays, impressions, and pictures of your entire mouth. A study model of your mouth is made by a lab for the doctor to customize a complete makeover plan. The study model helps determine what types of restorations are possible with your teeth and jaw alignment. At your next appointment, you come in for a consultation, so the doctor can explain the entire plan to make over your smile and answer all the questions you have.

What does a smile design consultation cost
There are two options. First, we offer a free smile design consult where the doctor looks at your teeth and explains your options. No x-rays or scans are done during this appointment. We also do a smile design workup which includes scans, x-rays, and study models and costs $750. This is where the doctor does a very thorough look at how your jaw and teeth align to present the restorations that will give you the most longevity and your aesthetic goals.
